“Hey, you know what’s going on here?”

“Oh shit.  Get that cat.”

Twelve nearby people rush Oz.  Oz uses Cuteness to stop them dead in their tracks and then delivers several punches and kicks knocking them all unconscious.

“DM there’s one making a run for it.”

“I see him, I’m on it.”

DM flies after Chim.  He lands in front of the chimpanzee.  As he reaches out to tackle Chim a zombie jumps him.  By the time he fights off the zombie Chim is gone.

DM and Oz work with the police and gather the zombified people.  At the station DM orders that one of the victims be given a full medical examination, from head to toe.  Oz and DM head out to look for the escapee.  They search all night, but find no trace of him.  The police find no clues as to what happened.  The only lead that anyone has is that the culprit is on the loose and will more than likely try this again.  In the mean time, a cure for the zombies needs to be found.

With the first attempt at an army thwarted by DM and Oz, Chim-Panzy must now reevaluate his plans.  He needs to find a way to deliver the serum to a mass of people in the simplest way possible.  He devices a plan to pump a gaseous form of the serum into the mall and movie theaters through the air ducts.  He sets to work on the new serum.

“Nothing.  We’ve got nothing.”

“It’s ok DM, he’ll show up again.”

“I know he will Oz, but I want to catch him before he does anything else.”

“Hey guys they figured out what was making all of the people turn into zombies.  They developed an inhalant to counter it.  I already fitted it to Bob so if that chimp makes a move you can use Bob to launch gas grenades into the area.”

“I knew we kept you around for a reason.”

“Oh geez thanks DM.”

Chim finishes his project on schedule, ready for the Friday night crowds.  He sets off serum gas containers venting it into the air ducts as planned.  After the serum takes hold, he sounds the tone that activates it, turning the people infected into his loyal hoard of troops.  He then orders the townspeople to level the entire city.  It’s not long before DM, Oz, and Sarah are alerted to the situation.

“OK time to roll.  Sarah I think this is the best time to try out your new toy.”

“Really DM.  You mean it.  I get to help for once?”

“Sure you built the damn thing it’s kind of yours.”

 “YES!”

The team prepares and sets out to stop Chim-Panzy and the hoard of zombies that he has created.  The majority of the inflicted are heading toward downtown.  That is where the battle will begin and end.

As soon as DM, Oz, and Sarah land they are attacked by the zombie hoards.  DM and Oz start knocking people out and Sarah starts launching gas grenades and bean bag rounds at the groups of attackers.  The team continues to fight through the hoards in search of Chim-Panzy.  They find him on the step of city hall surrounded by military troops that have been zombified.

“Well cat, I hope you don’t have a problem with beating on these guys, ‘cause we’ve got no other choice if we want that damn chimp.”

“Let’s do this DM.”

Oz and DM rush the troops.  After many a Buddhist Paw, Monkey Uppercut, Heel Jab Attack, and a Kick of Fluffiness or two, all of the guards surrounding Chim-Panzy are rendered unconscious.

“OK who’s next?  What do you say we teach this bastard a lesson?”

“Sure.”

“Wait I give up just cuff me I don’t want to get beaten up, it’s bad for my health.”

“Damn, you really are a pansy aren’t you?”

“Yea I guess I am.”

DM and Oz take Chim-Panzy into custody and hand him over to the police.  The people of the town are eventually returned to normal and order is restored once more.  Bob worked without any problem.  DM, Oz and the rest of Town recognize the usefulness of Bob, without Bob there would have been no victory.  Sarah is at last a hero.

As our heroes, and heroine take in the praise, a storm begins to brew.  It is a storm that will forever change the way crime is fought in the city of Town.
