Sarah walks in on at this point, “Sweet! I just finished up with him. Far as the diagnostics are concerned, Bob is fit for combat.”
Oz and DM are woken from their mid afternoon napping by the emergency phone line to Chief Daniels. “Boys we have a problem. We just took a report that two men had been talking about stealing Mayor Locke’s yacht.”
Still a tad groggy, “And do what with it,” DM inquires.
Oz awake and on his feet, “Probably hold it at ransom.”
“At any rate if you two can check it out, it’d help us out. The Mayor’s yacht should be at the lake. “
Confirming the order, “DM and I are on the way.”
DM calls to Sarah, “We’re off to the docks down at the lake, something about the Mayor’s yacht.”
Sarah walks in from the living room, “Ok, not to be pessimistic, but I’ll get Bob ready, ‘cause I have a feeling that Gore-illa has his hands in on this.”
Oz and DM arrive at the docks. It’s a nice spring day and many boaters are scurrying about getting their watercraft ready for the summer. Oz and DM locate the Mayor’s yacht but see no sign of trouble or foul play. They find a place in a nearby tree and give over watch of the yacht. Before long they spot two shady looking men wheeling a large crate down the boardwalk toward the yacht. The two men are wearing baseball hats and sunglasses; making it a tad hard to get a positive identification from the distance they are first spotted. When they get two thirds of the way down the docks, DM identifies the men as Francis and Louis. DM and Oz drop from their hide and confront the men, “Look Oz they brought us a gift.”
The crate explodes open and Gore-illa charges the heroes, clothes lining them both to the ground. Francis takes DM, and Louis attacks Oz; kicking them both while they’re down. Oz and DM manage to get out from under the goons, after taking a few kicks. They take up their fighting stance, back to back, ready to face all three; Oz facing the goons and DM facing Gore.
“DM, what do you say we switch it up this time? I’ll take the gorilla, and you take the goons.”
“Sounds good to me.”
DM and Oz pivot to attack their opponents. DM rushes Louis with a Drunken Knuckle, smoking him square in the jaw; he then delivers a hard kick to Francis’s head knocking him to the ground. Louis catches DM by the tail and tosses him against a tree. Francis, back to his feet rushes in and punts DM up into the tree, just as he is getting to his feet. DM lands hard to the ground and counters the men with a Super Spinning Back Fist to Louis’s face, pushing him into Francis and then to the ground. Francis pushes Louis off and gets to his feet only to be met by a Heel Jab Attack to the chest sending him a few feet back onto the dock.
As soon as Oz turns toward Gore-illa, he fires a Fluff Bomb. The ki attack smokes Gore-illa square in the chest stunning him and make him stumble backward a few steps. This gives Oz time to rush in and give Gore a Buddhist Paw to the face and kick to the chest. Gore-illa is not overly harmed by Oz’s attacks and counters with a Bloody Jab followed by a Spartan kick, sending Oz of the dock and into the water. Oz uses his ki to blast out of the water and over Gore, coming down on him with a Kick of Fluffiness. Gore-illa stumbles back from the kick, but is not phased by the assault, “Is that the best you can do?” Gore charges Oz and fakes a punch to kick his legs out from under him. With Oz down, Gore smashes him into the ground with a Quake Slam.
With Oz down for the moment, Gore-illa switches his attention to the fight against DM. He charges at DM and tosses a few punches and kicks that DM ducks and dodges. This distraction gives Francis and Louis the time they need to recover and join back in the fight. Angered by the staleness of the fight, Oz, now recovered from the Quake Slam, rushes in with an Unrelenting Claw, catching Louis and shredding his shirt, doing minor damage to his arms and torso. Louis cringes at the pain but bounces back and swiftly punts Oz. DM takes advantage of an opening striking Gore with a Heel Jab Attack followed by a Super Spinning Back First. As Gore-illa falls to the ground from DM’s attacks, Francis rushes from behind and grabs DM putting him in a head lock, he then converts and slams DM on the docks while still maintaining a grip and continues to swing DM into the side of a nearby boat where DM then falls into the water. Oz Rushes over to DM and helps him to sore, as Gore-illa, Francis, and Louis regroup for another round.
Just as our villains gather, the sound of jet engines can be heard fast approaching. Gore turns around to the sight of an unidentifiable object fast approaching them, “What the hell is that thing?”
Oz and DM know the sound and shape of their salvation, Bob, and Sarah have joined the fight. Bob touches down on shore and checks the status of DM and Oz, “You boys ok?”
Oz, still holding a dazed DM, responds, “Yea we’re fine enough, beaten but still standing.”
