Francis looking out the windows on the watch for the police, “Nothing yet. Wait a minute I see a car coming, but he doesn’t have lights.”
The police car speeds up to the front doors of the bank, directly behind the robber’s getaway car. Clyde exits the car and casually walks up to, and in the bank. As he enters he sees that no one is at the counter, “What the hell?” He then immediately realizes what he has walked into. He looks at the robbers who are absolutely puzzled by the presence of a walking, talking gorilla. “Sweet, you boys have done my job for me, let’s go before-“
Just as Clyde is making his statement two police cruisers pull in front of the bank. Four officers exit and take cover behind the cruisers. They access the situation and wait while backup arrives. One of the officers yells into the bank, “How we gonna play this?”
Clyde is not amused by this latest development in his plan. He grabs the gun from Francis, “Follow me boys.” Clyde walks out of the bank, raises the gun and opens fire on the officers. “Get in the car!” The robbers, start for their car, “The other car you idiots!”
The officers are caught off guard by the sight of a gorilla and almost caught in the firestorm. After the gun fire seizes, the officers begin to return fire. With the robbers and money safe in the police cruiser, Clyde lifts the other car in the air and throws it at the officers. He then climbs into the front passenger seat of the cruiser and they speed off.
“What’s up Sir,” inquires Oz as he and DM entering Police Chief Daniel’s office.
“Robbery. But not just any robbery, this one involved a gorilla.”
Curious DM inquires further, “Another escapee from Mind Laboratories?”
“Already called and Mr. Masters confirmed that he has not been field testing his serum since the last incident.”
DM questions further, “Then how did this happen?”
“No idea, I was hoping that the two of you could take a look about town and see if anything comes up.”
“Will do Sir.”
Oz ponders, “What do you think DM? Think this could be something to do with OT?”
“No. This new character sounds to be too tough to be subject to anyone.”
Sighing in frustration, “Only thing I can think of is to go see Mouse, maybe he’s got a lead for us.”
“Sup Mouse?”
“Yo Oz how’s it hanging bro?”
“Fine…ish…what do you know about a gorilla?”
“Yea the one that robbed that bank, funny theory going about that fella. The theory is that somehow Clyde is now that gorilla.”
Confused Oz inquires for clarification, “Who’s Clyde?”
“Clyde Monroe. Big time murdering criminal was lock up at Amity. See Clyde managed an escape from Amity the other day. They don’t have a trail; rain the other night washed it away. On a side note, there’s a gorilla that went missing en route to the Town Zoo, some sort of fender bender loosened the cage. And there was a report of a man seen in the woods, but he seemed to be handicapped or something I guess; wasn’t walking around like a normal person.”
Oz thinking for a moment, “So the theory is that the two switched minds somehow?”
“That’d be it.”
Puzzled by the theory DM inquires, “So do you think OT or one of his lackeys could have done this?”
Mouse answers assuredly, “Oh hell no. No one anywhere has heard or seen any of them.”
Oz and DM continue their search by air; searching abandoned housing, factories, and warehouses about Town. As they pass over East Town High School, they notice a suspicious box truck pull up to the school. Francis and Clyde burst from the rear of the truck with automatic rifles and open fire at random on the school; Louis exits the truck and joins them. Oz and DM dive in for the kill.
DM calls the shots, “I’ll take the big boy, and you hit the other two!”
DM dives at Clyde, slamming into him at full speed tackling him to the ground and rolling him clear of the other two. This gives Oz a great opening, he veers right and grabs hold of Louis and slams him into Francis. Oz jumps clear of the two men and throws them a Fluff Bomb, blasting them backward, sending Louis against a tree and Francis to the ground. DM’s start isn’t so well.
“Who are you really?”
Thinking for a moment, “Well considering the new body and life with super powers I’d have to say staying with Clyde is out of fashion. Sao you can now call me Gore-illa.”
“Well Gore-illa, I’m Drunken Monkey and I’m going to beat you senseless.”
DM charges in for a Drunken Knuckle, Gore-illa side steps the attack and punches DM square in the jaw launching him twelve feet in the air. Gore-illa then leaps into the air and delivers a Disembowel Punch to DM’s abdomen sending him into the second level of the school. DM finds his way out of the rubble to find Gore standing over him.
“Hello chap.” Gore grabs DM by the face and throws him to the parking lot outside the school, crushing a student’s brand new car. DM gets to his feet and charges Gore again, trying for a Monkey Uppercut, only to be met with a Bloody Jab from Gore-illa sending him across the parking lot and into another car.
Oz is holding his own against Louis and Francis. He is rather surprised by their skills in a stand up fight. As he readies to deliver a Kick of Fluffiness to Francis, Gore-illa appears and blocks the attack and punches Oz square in the stomach. Gore then grabs Oz and throws him through the rear end of the box truck. Oz gets up as quick as he can to make a counter, only to be greeted by Gore who smashes Oz into the pavement with a Quake Slam. Gore-illa and his triumphant lackeys steal a near by car and speed off into the afternoon to plan their next move.
Back at the ranch, aka Sarah’s house, Oz and DM are tending to their beaten bodies. Sarah is hard at work getting Bob ready for the next encounter with Gore-illa. All of the updated hardware has checked out, but the software is still glitching. Sarah can feel the crunch as it has been three days since any sign of Gore-illa or his henchmen.
Sitting up slowly as to not throw his back out again, DM starts to formulate a counter to Gore-illa’s strength. “What the hell do we do man?”
“We have to take down his boys first. They’re not the best but they held their own, especially together. As for that gorilla, we’ll have to take him together.”
“To be honest, I think we’ll need Bob to beat Gore-illa.”
