The man standing closest to the door pulls out a shotgun from his coat and points it at Mr. Kapoor’s head. He enters the house and the other man asks the lady off the house where Pete is. She tells him where his room is upstairs and begs him not to harm him.
“Don’t blame me honey, blame Master Onda, he’s the one defying our boss.”
“What? I’m terribly sorry Mrs. Kapoor. I will see to it that they pay for what they have done. I never would have thought that they would go to such lengths to take my dojo. These Yakuza have no heart at all.”
The next day Kenshin and his partner give Master Onda another visit.
“Master Onda, please, for your sake and the sake of this dojo, please accept our boss’s hospitality. He does not wish to continue making trouble.”
“I find that hard to believe. Tell your boss if he wants my dojo then he should be a man of honor and come to acquire it himself. That is all I have to say to you. Now leave.”
“Sir, Master Onda has issued a challenge to you. He requested that you come to acquire his dojo in person. He also called you on your honor, saying that if you are a man of honor you will come to him in person.”
“Well that is quite that challenge. I do believe that I will accept this challenge of Master Onda’s. Prepare the gang; it will take more than one man to stop Master Onda.”
“I’m sorry Oz, but I have to throw out, after today there will be no one left to care for you, you’ll have to care for yourself.”
Master Onda says goodbye his cat and puts him down outside. He then returns to his shrine to meditate before the Dragon Clan arrives.
Oz begins to wander, having never been outside. It’s not long before men from the Dragon Clan come into the yard. The commotion scares him and he runs out of the yard in the direction of the docks.
He continues to wander around the docks sniffing and investigating anything that seems worth the time. As he rounds a corner he comes upon the main work area. His curiosity gets the better of him and he continues on. He starts by investigating nearby barrels stacked for shipment out of the docks. After snooping around he decides to cross to the other side of the docks. Being a cat, he fails to check traffic. As he crosses the dock traffic lanes a forklift carrying barrels of hazardous waste screams toward him. The operator sees Oz and swerves to miss him. The forklift tips over and the barrels spill across the docks and splash their contents onto Oz. He runs away after having a wet substance splashed on him. He runs to a corner and begins to clean the oozy liquid from his coat.
“Hey guys I found him over here. Come here kitty, I’ll take you somewhere safe.”
“Leave me the hell alone!”
“AHHHH!
“Master Onda Toshiro, I am Miyamoto Tanjiro of the Dragon Clan. I am here to accept your challenge and claim your dojo for the purposes of the Yakuza. Though I have men at my back I fully intend on fighting you myself. You have called me here on honor and I shall show you that I am a man of honor by defeating you in battle.”
“You will need every one of those men you brought with you to even stand a chance at defeating me.”
“Well aren’t we confident of our abilities. Shall I test this confidence by allowing you to fight against my men before we start our battle?”
“Whatever you wish.”
“Boys beat the shit out of him!”
The twenty men that Miyamoto has brought along attack Master Onda with police batons. A few of the men are able to land blows with their batons and a few of the men are able to land punches and kicks, but every one of the attackers is repelled by Onda. Miyamoto stands in amazement of the ability of his foe.
“Well I see that it shall be I that shows you what it means to defy the Yakuza.”
Miyamoto removes his suit coat and neck tie, leaving them on the floor by the front window of the dojo. He walks to the center of the room and takes a stance drawing the sword that he is carrying and tosses the sheath aside. Onda walks to the entrance to his apartment and picks up a sword from the doorway. He then takes his stance in front of Miyamoto with his sword drawn.
Miyamoto attacks with a powerful upward slash. Onda blocks the attack and delivers a powerful kick to his enemy’s lower chest; he then retakes his stance for the next attack. Miyamoto’s next attack starts as a downward slash that he quickly changes to a stab. Onda counters the attack, stepping around his foe and cutting the back of his shirt wide open. Miyamoto attempts to catch Onda off guard by attacking before he can regain his defensive stance. This attack fails as Onda dodges it completely. Onda then goes on the offensive by delivering a powerful kick to Miyamoto’s chest as he turns around. The kick sends Miyamoto stumbling backward before he falls to his back. Miyamoto, now rather angry, jumps up and charges Onda delivering slash after slash that is blocked or dodged completely by Onda.
“You are a formidable opponent Master Onda. I have underestimated your ability.”
“Give it up. There is no way that you can defeat me.”
“I believe that’s my line. And I’m not finished yet I still have a few tricks up my sleeve that I have yet to use.”
Miyamoto attacks again. This time he mixes kicks and punches into his slashes and stabs. His attacks remain unsuccessful. He readies for yet another assault. He attacks Onda using a left handed slash. This frees his right hand to release a sleeve gun. He points and fires the gun at point blank range hitting Onda in the chest. He then delivers a kick to Onda sending him to floor.
“You see when you mess with the Dragon Clan you never win. It has been a long time since I had a good fight, but I’m afraid Master Onda that I simply will not loose.”
“You Yakuza are all the same. You start your fights with honor but finish them in dishonor. I am saddened when I think about what the world will be in the future. But as fate would have it I will not see the rising of another sun.”
Miyamoto thrusts his sword into Onda’s heart. He then turns to his men and orders them to burn any evidence of what has happened. Miyamoto leaves the dojo and Sano and three of the other men enter with gasoline. They begin to spread it around the dojo just as Oz is returning.
“Who the hell are...? MASTER!”
Oz runs over to Master Onda’s body. He looks at the men who are standing in amazement that there is a talking cat standing before them. Oz stands and turns to the men.
“Which of you is responsible for this?”
