The cat gives out the details, “Yeah, these two mugged an old lady.”

At hearing this tidbit of information Drunken Monkey punches both of the men right in the jaw, “You assholes, beating up on an old lady!”  He then ties their restraints extra tight and places the men in a crate where they will be found the next day.  After the men are secured, Drunken Monkey turns to the cat, “My name is Drunken Monkey, protector of this here town, and glad to help you in whatever way I can.”

The tabby extends a paw, “Oz the Kung Fu Cat, Oz, for short is fine. And I’ll take that help looking for The Evil Crime Syndicate.”

DM is elated to hear that Oz in on the hunt for them as well.  “Okay, so just what is the ECS?”

“It stands for The Evil Crime Syndicate, or ECS is an international organization, I’ve dealt with.  They’re more of a terrorist group than a bunch of criminals and thugs.”

“Ugh just what everyone needs, more bad guys.”

“I’ve been chasing them all over; they never really stay in one town for too long.”

“Yeah, so how does a cat get super powers?”

“Well, I used to live in a dojo in Big Apple.  All I did was sit around and watch the students and the master practice all day, so I decided to leave.  I went out to explore the world and when I came to the nearby docks I got ooze dumped on me by some jackass trying to do wheelies with a forklift.”

After talking more about each other’s adventures Drunken Monkey offers for Oz to follow him home.  Oz accepts the offer and the two head off.  When the two make it to DM’s house and meet Sarah, she immediately begins to fill in any void of neglect that Oz may have had.  The poor cat is nearly smothered with love, Drunken Monkey manages to put his jealousy aside knowing that Sarah is a girl and this will not last forever.

The next day the two heroes head down to the police station to see if anything new has turned up overnight.  All the police have is the two men from the night before.  DM suggests that he and Oz split up and begin to look for anything that may lead them to the ECS.  Oz heads for the northern sector of the town, and Drunken Monkey heads for the southern sector.  Within an hour Drunken Monkey finds the fight that he has been looking for.

“There are way too many cars at that house to be a cookout.  I think I’m going to investigate.”

Drunken Monkey knocks on the front door and a rather large man answers.

“Hi, have you, or any of your friends seen or heard anything suspicious lately, anything about the ECS?”

“Yeah, I think Andy said he heard something do you want to come in and ask him about it?”

“Sure if you don’t mind?”

“Oh it’s no problem at all, it’s a guy’s only party.”

As soon as Drunken Monkey enters the house and has his back to the man at the door he receives a massive kick to his back sending him into the middle of the living room where everyone is gathered.  Everyone in the room gets to their feet as they realize who has just landed in front of them.  The man from the door enters the room with a pair of baseball bats and hands one of them off to one of the other men standing in the room.  Drunken Monkey gets to his feet and addresses the man that kicked him.

“Is that how you greet all your guests?”

“No just you Drunken Monkey.”

“There are only six of you, this should be easy.  Just tell me one thing, what is the main goal of the ECS, and who’s the mastermind behind it all.”

“Our goal is complete destruction of everything, and our fearless leader is, The Boss.”

“Every crime ring has a boss, I need a name.”

“No you don’t understand, it’s, The Boss.”

“Oh…… well shit.  Are the stories really true?”

“Far as I know.”

“Shit.  Well let’s do this thing and get it over with.”

“That abandoned house doesn’t look abandoned.”

Oz quietly opens the door to the house and enters.  He can hear the voices of about ten men in the upper level.  He cautiously makes his way upstairs.  The men are discussing their plan to bomb the court house.  Oz knocks on the door and then hugs the wall corner.  As soon as the door opens and one of the men exits the room, Oz begins his attack.

“Kick of Fluffiness!”

The attack sends the man down the hallway.  Oz then jumps into the room between a second man’s legs.  Oz performs a jumping kick on a second victim sending him through a window to the ground below.  One of the men draws his hand gun, but before he can fire a shot Oz has possession of the weapon and pistol whips the man.  Oz then uses a combination of leaps, punches, and kicks to beat down the remaining seven men.  After all of the men are taken out he calls for the police using one of the criminals GPS enabled cell phones.  Oz then has the sense that Drunken Monkey is in trouble and lets his senses lead him to where DM is.

“Damn, what the hell are you two made out of concrete?”

“No we’re just strong men for, The Boss.”

Drunken Monkey tries once more to bring the men down with his Drunken Knuckle, but he is again beat to the floor with the swing of a baseball bat.  As DM gets to his feet Oz enters the house and takes a stance besides DM.

“So you have a buddy now do you?”

“I am Oz the Kung Fu Cat, and together we will defeat you.”

Oz attacks the man on the right and Drunken Monkey immediately delivers a Heel Jab Attack to the man on the left, left stunned by Oz’s speed.  Oz uses a combination of empty attacks to confuse his opponent and break open his defense.  As soon as the man is opened Oz delivers a super powered punch that renders the man unconscious.  Drunken Monkey manages to get behind his opponent and uses an Impossible Grab-n-Throw Attack to send the man through a wall knocking him out.

“I know who the mastermind is Oz.”

“Who?”

“The Boss.”

“Who the hell’s, The Boss?”

“He’s a big time crime lord in Town, I’ve never gone after him personally, he kind of keeps me in business if you know what I mean, but after learning this… I think it’s time I paid him a visit.”
